Five Must-Do Activities During Your Fall Stay On the Gulf Coast

The beaches along the Alabama Gulf Coast are a favorite summer destination for many vacationers (there’s a reason why we call summer the “busy season” !!). But when summer turns to fall, things start to slow down around here. While the chilly air may be coming, there is still much to enjoy on a fall beach vacation. 1. Have a beach picnic 

It may be getting colder, but we are still at the beach!!! Beach picnics are such a cozy activity for the fall season, especially when paired with a warm, golden sunset. A cloudy beach day is also perfect for a moody chilly vibe! Bring your blankets, a warm drink, and a hobby item such as a book, paint supplies, crochet supplies, etc.

2. Go on a walk through our state park

Gulf Coast State Park is a must-visit area during any time of the year, but there is definitely a warm and refreshing vibe to the park once fall rolls around. The slight chill in the breeze rustles through the trees, and you can even see some leaves turning warm! This is a wonderful activity to get in some exercise and to appreciate the other beautiful nature areas aside from the beach.
