Back to the Beach this Summer with Liquid Life!

Hello again! This is Anya Vasylevska, and I’m back in Orange Beach! I spent a year in Atlanta studying at Kennesaw State University. Now it’s my second summer as an intern with Liquid Life, and I am so excited to be back!

Last summer I had so much fun living by the coast, trying new things, and getting to know the culture here. There are many reasons why I’m happy to be here again. Here are a few of them:

• Coffee Shops – There are such good coffee shops around here. Last summer, I enjoyed the Southern Grind Coffee House. Their lavender iced coffee tastes so good under the sun at the beach. They are also pet-friendly, and they have so many cute gifts and home decor that can be a good present, souvenir, or a reminder of a great visit.
• Seafood – Seafood shops and restaurants are so different here! Fresh shrimp and fish taste so much better! One of my favorite meals with seafood is the tuna bowl, especially at The Gulf Restaurant. It goes with many different sides, and you can enjoy it by sitting next to the water with a lovely breeze. 
• Dolphins – Who doesn’t like dolphins? The Fun Boat Dolphin Cruise is a fun thing to do with friends or family. Captain Dean knows the best places to see the dolphins. Enjoy the dolphin cruise while seeing great views of the local sights!
• The Beach – Obviously, the main reason why people come down here! Sunbathing, volleyball, beach bars – you’ll find everything! It is such a relaxing and fun place to get a break after this long year. 

Aside from all the wonderful places that I visited last summer, I’m excited to discover new places too!

• Our Coffee - Closed last year for renovations, Our Coffee is open again in a newly renovated house which makes it very cozy. A great place to get good coffee and chat with friends, it has a hip, beachy, and welcoming vibe. 
• The Park at OWA - I went to OWA once last year once and would love to go back! You'll see something new every time you go there. It’s such a fun place to hang out, ride rollercoasters, and see new shows at the amphitheater. It also has a beautiful area with a lake, restaurants, lights, and a fountain to walk around.
• Shopping - Shopping is one of the things that’s always fun to do! There are many places, like Tiki Gulf Shores, Pieces Boutique, Tanger Outlets, OWA, and many more. It is also something you can do if it’s raining!
• Sea View Tours - If you dream of tropical pictures from Hawaii, then you'll want to check out Sea View Tours, clear kayak tours and rentals. Add this unique and beautiful experience to your vacation with friends, family, and children to get away and enjoy nature!

As you can see, I'm excited to be back in familiar places and to try new things. I will write about my experience as I go and try new activities.
