Our Beaches are OPEN!!

3

Yes, you heard that right! Our white, sandy beaches are officially open, and we are ready to welcome you back!

According to Alabama Governor Kay Ivey's Safer at Home order, our Alabama beaches in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach will be back open beginning 5pm this Thursday, April 30.

All public and private beaches along the Alabama Gulf Coast, including Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, and the Fort Morgan peninsula will be opening.

Alabama’s beaches will open to gatherings of fewer than 10 people, and anyone using the beaches must remain six feet away from others not in their household group. Normal use of the beach will be allowed, with chairs and umbrellas, within social distancing guidelines.

Restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, and coffee shops will continue to offer takeout, curbside and delivery service, and retail stores (including grocery stores, pharmacies, and all of your favorites) will be allowed to open at a 50% occupancy rate.

Condo pools are allowed to open as well, subject to social distancing guidelines. Gatherings of 10 or more people, and a six-foot distance must be kept at all times.

All information is provided by Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism, our local beach experts. The statewide Safer at Home order can be viewed here

Our little slice of paradise is waiting for you to join us. Come soak up the sun next to our emerald blue waters and explore all the other outdoor activities the Gulf Coast has to offer.
