Visiting the Gulf Coast for Hangout Fest this weekend? If you need a caffeine pickup after a night of concerts and music, we have just the thing for you! The Gulf Coast has an awesome selection of coffee shops - perfect to satifsfy your need for caffeine. Each of these spots not only has amazing coffee and treats, but they also have adorable decor to make you feel right at home. Check out some of our favorites below.

1. Our Coffee

Our Coffee is a hip, cool, locals joint with amazing coffee and a chic, beachy vibe. The story of Our Coffee began in 2004 when owner Brooke Davis began dreaming of opening her own shop one day. For 13 years, she worked for small local coffee chops, church coffee shops, and even Starbucks. After living in 3 states and 6 cities, Brooke and her husband John Martin found their home in Gulf Shores and opened the coffee shop they always dreamed of.

2. Foam Coffee

Foam Coffee is a locally owned coffee and shop located in the waterway district of Gulf Shores. They’re a place of gathering for conversation and community. Foam is proudly serving intelligentsia coffee, started as a small coffee bar and retail shop in Chicago 20+ years ago, rooted in community and a good cup of coffee. They have a simple menu of healthier snacks and smoothies for you to enjoy!

3. Drowsey Poet at the Foley Station

Located just up the road in Foley, The Drowsy Poet Coffee Company roasts specialty Arabica beans every day in their bustling coffee shop. Their master roasters ensure a balanced and complex cup of coffee by careful attention to every step of the coffee process from bean selection through roasting of each hand-crafted batch. The proof is in the cup!

4. Buzzcatz Coffee & Sweets

From simple breakfast fare and home-made pastries, to ice cream and delectable delights, BuzzCatz Coffee & Sweets is simply scrumptious. Enjoy locally roasted coffee, breakfast, baked goods and made from scratch goodies all sure to satisfy even the most discriminating sweet tooth.

5. Southern Grind Coffee House

Be sure to stop by The Southern Grind at The Wharf while you are in town for Hangout. It is a great place for locals to gather or vacationers to bring their dogs at our pet-friendly courtyard. You never know what unique array of gifts and home décor you will find in their old antique boat. You will be sure to find gelato, pastries, desserts and a lounge - something for the entire family makes them more than just a coffee house.

Be sure to stop by one of these yummy coffee shops for a taste of local flavor while you are on the Gulf!
