Our Favorite Restaurants at The Wharf in Orange Beach!

Orange Beach is a great place to visit year round with never-ending activities and events. If you are visiting us on the Gulf Coast this Fall season (the best time of year here!), you'll be sure to enjoy the lower temperatures, sunsets to die for and some incredible food - without the long wait.

A "must see" spot on your visit to the Gulf Coast is The Wharf in Orange Beach. Located just 5 miles from our white sand beaches, this entertainment hot spot has something for everyone - offering fine dining, retail venues, and musical entertainment at the amphitheater. Sitting right on a marina, you can also go for an evening stroll with beautiful views.

One of our favorite parts of this venue is the variety of incredible restaurants, and we wanted to share a few of our favorites with you for your Fall vacation to the Gulf Coast!

1. Ginny Lane Bar and Grill

Your new favorite restaurant, Ginny Lane Bar and Grill is the place to go for all things seafood and southern! They serve southern dishes that will have your mouth watering at the mere mention - like shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes, and cajun crab cakes. Open 7 days a weeks, Ginny Lane Bar and Grill has an awesome selection of weekly specials and a rad kids menu available all day long.

2. The Southern Grind Coffee House

Make sure to stop by The Southern Grind Coffee House for an afternoon pick-me-up or a sweet treat after dinner - like their ice cold gelato! There are so many flavors to choose from that you'll have to stop by every day to try them all! More than just a coffee house, Southern Grind offers fresh food as well, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. 

3. Villaggio Grille

If you are looking for more of a romantic evening away from the kiddos, we recommend Villaggio Grille. This upscale Italian restaurant offers some of the best food in town! Located in the heart of The Wharf, Villaggio Grill lives up to their reputation of being one of the best restaurants in the area.

4. Red or White Wine

If you are looking for a light meal and some adult company, Red or White Wine is the place for you! In addition to their impressively large wine selection, they offer cheese and charcuterie boards as well as pizza, salads, and pastas - for the perfect Italian evening!

5. YoHo Rum & Tacos

Looking for something more casual? Hop over to YoHo Rum & Tacos for a laid back taco dinner! This restuarant offers the freshest tacos with a coastal flair and a view. YoHo offers guests the flavors and culture of the Gulf Coast, Central and South America, and the Caribbean.

These are just a few of the amazing restaurants on the Gulf Coast, but dining at The Wharf is particularly special. This spot captures the heart of the Orange Beach community and its coastal spirit.
