Spring is here!

Spring has sprung and has brought a forecast of beach fun and lots of sun! School is out and our white sand beaches are quickly filling up with friends and families making lifelong memories. Whether you enjoy water sports, shopping or dining at one of our Gulf side restaurants admiring a beautifully painted sunset - there is something for everyone! Why not take advantage of the hot weather and hot deals! 

It can be easy to get caught up in the excitement of a beach vacation and totally forget all the things you needed to bring. So, below we have listed some of the items we simply can not do with out while on the beach and hopefully you will be able to use this as a checklist before you hit the beach this spring!    

• Sunscreen/lip balm with sunscreen
• A hat to protect your face while on the beach
• Snorkel gear
• A good book
• Water
• Umbrella
• Baby powder
• Snacks
• Beach Chair
• Beach towel
• Sandcastle toys
• Bluetooth radio
• Sunglasses

Wondering what the baby powder is for? We were too when someone told us they never head to the beach without it! Before you and your family eat your snack on the beach, rub baby powder on your hands and the sand falls right off. No need to eat that sandwich with actual sand! It can also be used to rub on your feet to get the sand off before getting back in your car or before entering your condo.

Don’t forget to Leave Only Footprints and remove all of your supplies from the beach before sunset each day!
