5 Things to Experience on Your 4th of July Vacation

  4th of July is almost here! Have you reserved your condo yet? We have some awesome 3 and 2 night specials happening right now! Once you’ve rented your dream vacation condo, it’s time to start planning! Here is a list of our top 5 favorite things to experience during a 4th of July vacation! In no particular order. 

1.  Discover Sea Turtles. From 2 to 3 pm on July 3rd, volunteers from the “Share the Beach” initiative will be talking about how sea turtles make their way to our beaches and how they complete the process of nesting. This will take place at the Nature Center in the Gulf State Park.  

2. The Independence Day Celebration at The Wharf. Celebrate Independence Day at the Wharf on July 3rd! Kids activities will begin at 5 pm and a fireworks display that can be seen right from the streets of The Wharf will start at 8:45! Their Spectra light show will start immediately after the fireworks! 

3. Dolphin Cruises and Jet Boats. The Fun Boat Dolphin Cruises are home to the water wars and they guarantee more FUN and dolphins in 2 hours on the water, than you have ever had before! We always have so much fun finding dolphins with Captain Dean but the fun doesn’t stop with dolphins! The Fun Boat crew has a new attraction, a jet boat! The jet boat ride is perfect for thrill seekers and will not disappoint. 

4. Fireworks. You can’t come to the beach for a 4th of July vacation and not experience fireworks! Gulf Shores will start their fireworks display at 9 pm on the 4th of July. Fireworks will be launched from the State Fishing Pier. For our friends staying in Orange Beach, you’re covered too. Perdido Beach Resort will start their annual fireworks show around the same time!  

5. Journey. There is no better way to cap off a vacation at the beach than with everyone’s favorite band, Journey! They will be playing all the hits on July 6th, at The Wharf Amphitheater with special guest Asia.
