Girlfriend Getaways on the Gulf Coast

GNOs are always some of the best nights. Why not make a weekend of it?!

No matter how hard we try, summer can often end up being the busiest time of the year. That's why a little R&R with the girls is the best way to wrap up the summer months. This weekend is International Friend Day, so round up the girls and hit the road. It's time for a girlfriend getaway! 

Here are a few things you can look forward to on your trip to the Gulf! 

1. Rest and Relaxation

With miles of white sandy beaches in either direction of your luxurious condomonium, you have plenty of space to stretch out and soak up the sun. Grab an umbrella and a lounge chair or just throw a towel in the sand and enjoy a day of fun in the sun with your best friends.                        

Pro tip: Trade out your sunglasses for cucumber slices and enjoy the cool sensation - you'll forget you aren't actually at the spa! It also reduces the risk of tan lines from sunglasses. 

2. Fabulous Food 

Fresh seafood is just one of many reasons to visit the coast. There are dozens of dives that serve incredible seafood straight from our backyard. There are several restaraunts worth stopping - like LuLus, for instance, owned by Lucille Buffet. You might even run into her Margaritaville brother!  Make sure to stop by Liquid Life Cafe for your locally roasted coffee in the mornings or a refreshing smoothie bowl after your day in the sun.  

3.  Spectacular Shopping 

There are so many shopping options on the Alabama Gulf Coast including The Wharf, Tanger Outlets, San Roc Cay and dozens of beach shops lining the coast. You can spend a day exploring each seperate location! The best souveniers can be found the closer you are to the beach, but the best outfits for a night out will be found in a cute boutique or outlet.
