A Day at the Gulf State Park

When visiting the Alabama Gulf Coast, a trip to the Gulf State Park is in order. 1. Hugh S. Branyon Trail

This beautiful, paved nature trail is an absolute perfect way to spend the afternoon. Grab the bikes or your walking shoes and explore the back country trails of this beautiful town. You will encounter incredible sights and wildlife along the way, so pack your camera and a picnic for this awesome adventure.  

2. Zip Lining - Gulf Adventure Center

The newest addition to the Gulf State Park has been a huge success!  
Guided zip line tours with gorgeous views of Lake Shelby and the Gulf of Mexico are the perfect activity for the whole thrill-seeking family. Join the fun and awesome tour guides at the Gulf Adventure Center and learn about our beautiful coast.

3. The Gulf Pier

Spend a day casting your lines into the pristine waters at the Gulf State Park Pier. Rebuilt in 2009 after being destroyed by Hurricane Ivan, we are happy to host the largest fishing pier on the Gulf of Mexico! 2,448 feet of fishing handicap accessible fishing space, covered seating areas and more. The pier is the perfect afternoon outing!
