Flora-Bama

The Flora-Bama Lounge is situated on the beach at the Alabama-Florida state line in Perdido Key. The Bama is sometimes referred to as America’s “last great roadhouse.” Thanks to Hurricane Ivan there is no longer “the inside bar” but rather several decks and tents. They usually have 4 or more bands a day playing on the two outdoor stages. There are always special events taking place at Flora-Bama, including The Polar Bear Dip, Frank Brown's Songwriters Festival and Mullet Toss in spring.
