The house and resort area were absolutely beautiful. There were staff on the property everyday ensuring its cleanliness and helping with any information. They had extra events going on which were a bonus; movie by the pool, yoga, live music and donuts and education from a local museum.
There is direct access to the state park however the beach access is a small walk on a street that doesn???t have sidewalks (there are bike lanes however). They do offer a shuttle service to drive you across but with wagons of kids things it was hard to use. The only other thing not mentioned in their description is that you will need to bring additional toilet paper and trash bags.
It was a peaceful, gorgeous property and beach. There were so many sea shells for the kids to find. The sand was incredibly soft and white. We will definitely come back.
